ENGINEERING-ROBOTICS-CODING CAMP

Prepare the future of young people in an innovative society

Science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) professionals play a crucial role in the Canadian economy in terms of innovation, technological development, automation, infrastructure and the green economy; the rapid growth in demand in these fields means that Canada is experiencing a STEM skills shortage . However, few young people from diverse backgrounds graduate in these disciplines or have little exposure to these programs in public schools.

To change this and make a difference, the LMS Foundation is organizing a Robotics, Engineering and Coding Summer Camp that will take place at the Lasallian Center (Safe & Technological Space: Seeing Big) from July 23 to August 1, 2025. All young people from 9 to 15 years old are welcome.
In addition to having fun developing the transversal and cognitive skills of the curriculum
Ministerial on Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, participants
will have the opportunity to:
1) Optimize their creativity by building and coding a robot
2) Learn about Artificial Intelligence and its application to robots
3) Learn about the profession of a visiting engineer or scientist
4) Receive a STEM learning notebook applied to robotics and AI
5) Receive a certificate (certificate of skills) after completing the advanced level.
This camp is a unique opportunity for parents to prepare their children to succeed in an innovative society that will be greatly influenced by artificial intelligence and robotics.

“A robotic construction or an educational game is one of the best learning tools because it is at the center of learners' interest and, subsequently, it easily holds their attention.”   P. Mayard, Founder, Advisor & double recipient of the Excellence Award (physics & sciences)

The robotics program organized by Mr. Mayard and his principles for success helped me develop my confidence as a student and leader.” Christopher Kudo, Alumnus, Double Robotics Champion & Mechanical Engineer

The application of knowledge that creates robots, drones, electric vehicles...is worth 10 times more than the acquisition of knowledge.” P. Mayard, Writer & Education Pioneer
